Ahrelia is a luxurious design and build company that focuses on spectacular opulence for clients.I was contacted to design the Ahrelia website and I’m happy to share the results with you. The website was designed to reflect a modern and sophisticated service provider as it fits the brand.

Design process

  • Research: We conducted research on industry standards for design and build websites. What do users respond to? What are their expectations? I learned more on the industry and what it will take to design a minimal but classy website.
  • Ideation and Design: Created low-fidelity wireframes visualize the direction. Next worked on high-fidelity mockups showing what the website final look.
  • Prototype and Testing: We developed interactive prototypes to visualize the user journey and test key features. Through usability testing, we gathered feedback on layout, navigation, and overall experience.
  • Iteration and Hand-off: We refined the design through multiple rounds of feedback and iteration. I focused on maintaining a clean and intuitive experience throughout. Once finalized, I prepared all design assets and documentation for a smooth developer hand-off.

Ahrelia website UI design

  • Created detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes using Adobe XD, focusing on crafting an inviting and user-friendly interface. Selected a warm and inviting color scheme and typography that reflects the app's social and culinary focus.
  • Developed high-fidelity prototypes that showcased the app's core features, including a dynamic home feed, detailed restaurant profiles, and an integrated chat system for planning dining events. Conducted iterative design reviews with the team to refine the prototypes.
  • Home screenAhrelia home screen is designed to welcome users. Displaying difference services available.
  • About screenAhrelia about screen has a calm but commanding feel. About section highlights the brand history, vision and team.
  • Services screenAhrelia services are displayed in a tab style for users to easily navigate and read about each service, they can also reach out to the team on these pages.
  • Portfolio screenAhrelia portfolio screen shows the users projects proudly completed by the company. This gives them insight on what to expect.

Results

Actionable results of the website design design. On a surface level Ahrelia got an increase from 4 to 13 clients as at the time of documenting this.

  • Increased Client Partnerships: Helped the brand attract higher-tier clients who now see the brand as trustworthy and well-established.
  • Boosted Engagement & Exploration: Visitors now spend more time exploring the brand story, product pages, and contact section — a sign of improved user engagement.
  • Better Brand Storytelling: Enabled the brand to clearly articulate its identity, attracting customers aligned with its luxury/minimal ethos.

Reflections

Working on GPC International’s website was a fast-paced and high-stakes experience that challenged me to design with precision, clarity, and strategic intent. Collaborating closely with decision-makers on a tight 2-week deadline taught me the importance of rapid alignment, structured thinking, and confident design execution under pressure.This project reinforced how critical it is to understand a brand’s tone, clientele, and market positioning—especially when serving high-net-worth and enterprise audiences. Every design decision had to communicate authority, professionalism, and discretion. I learned to simplify complex structures without losing depth, and to balance aesthetics with functionality for a corporate audience.
