Design process

  • Research: For the want of time, I had to get straight into researching the industry standards and what competitor (direct and indirect) are doing and who they represented themselves online.
  • Ideation and Design: I went straight to high-fidelity mockup designs. But to ensure I was able to manage reviews and time constraint, I did (2) initial screens to serve as a template and give direction. Shared this with stakeholders and move on with the other screens putting feedback into consideration.
  • Prototype: I developed interactive prototypes to visualize the user journey and test key features.
  • Development Support: I was actively providing design support to the developer who handled the project considering a lot of the elements used does not follow the conventional style of websites. I commend the developers on this for being able to pull it off.
  • Home pageGPC home screen has an abstract but composed approach displaying core website features like, About, Services, Values and, Partners.
  • Services pageWhile GPC services are briefly highlighted at the bottom of the home page. It has a dedicated page which focuses on core offers from GPC including: GPC Enterprise and GPC Wealth.
  • About us pageAbout Us highlights to potential clients what the company is all about, who they are are displayed in a tab style for users to easily navigate and read about each service, they can also reach out to the team on these pages.
  • Values pageGPC values screen highlights what drives the company. The motivating factors pushing GPC International.

Results

GPC had no digital presence that didn’t reflect its international scale and strategic capabilities. The design showcased their global footprint, regional expertise, and advisory credibility.

  • Positioned GPC as a Global Thought Leader: Strengthened global positioning, helping the brand win trust from international clients and partners.
  • Streamlined Navigation & User Experience: Reduced visitor confusion and increased the number of qualified leads and better user retention across key service and insight pages.
  • Reinforced Trust Through Visual Hierarchy: Created a polished, authoritative first impression that builds trust within seconds.

Reflections

Working on GPC International’s website was a fast-paced and high-stakes experience that challenged me to design with precision, clarity, and strategic intent. Collaborating closely with decision-makers on a tight 2-week deadline taught me the importance of rapid alignment, structured thinking, and confident design execution under pressure. This project reinforced how critical it is to understand a brand’s tone, clientele, and market positioning—especially when serving high-net-worth and enterprise audiences. Every design decision had to communicate authority, professionalism, and discretion. I learned to simplify complex structures without losing depth, and to balance aesthetics with functionality for a corporate audience.
